This young band has quickly taken the local scene with their Grateful Dead tribute that will keep you grooving all night.

Chester Brown and Mr. Blotto Open 2020 at Reggie’s

Mr. Blotto’s 2020 NYE show was a night to remember. In a night billed as a Watkins Glen inspired show, Chester Brown opened the night at Reggie’s on South State Street in Chicago with a set covering many of The Band’s songs starting with Back to Memphis, and following with The Shape I’m In, I Shall Be Released, Don’t Do It, The Night they Drove Old Dixie Down, Up On Cripple Creek, Slippin’ and Slidin (Little Richard), The Weight, and finishing with Ophelia.

Mr. Blotto took the stage and started off the end of 2019 and brought us into 2020 with a show to remember. There were times I closed my eyes during the first set and could imagine a show I was at in Darien Lake, NY in the early ‘90s. They were that dead on.
